Role Overview: We are looking at hiring a Project Manager. The role is suited for candidates having a problem-solving approach and capacity for applying data-driven insights to inform solutions and recommendations. Our preference is for people who enjoy thinking through and untangling complex issues, connecting the dots and applying strategic and creative thought to arrive at action-oriented solutions. We appreciate folks who are self-driven, have an entrepreneurial spirit, and are passionate about social change and sustainable development.

What You Will Do:

● Design and drive end-to-end project plans with defined outcomes and milestones.

● Lead multi-disciplinary teams in delivering consulting engagements with clarity and quality.

● Analyse large sets of qualitative and quantitative data to generate insights and recommendations.

● Build strong relationships with client teams and key stakeholders, including senior government and private sector officials.

● Create compelling decks, reports, and briefs that guide strategic action.

● Contribute to internal knowledge building and best practice development.

Who We’re Looking For:

● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Development Studies or a related field. Having a Master’s degree in these or related fields is a plus.

● 7-8 years of overall experience, with least 3 years as a Project Manager leading multi-disciplinary teams. Experience in the public education sector is a plus; experience in development sector consulting, strategy consulting or government sector consulting is a plus.

● Strong analytical abilities (quantitative and qualitative); familiarity with analytical tools, modelling or econometrics is a plus

● Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills, with the ability to present information and analyses in a structured and insightful manner.

● Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, and also perform with high degree of independence

● Demonstrated experience in working with senior officials in the public sector, and/or senior leadership (CxO, Board level) in the private sector. Experience in engaging with government departments, agencies and other institutions related to public sector education will be an advantage.

● Cross-cultural sensitivity, awareness of the political and social environment in India and awareness of the policies, challenges and opportunities in the education sector in India

Please note that this is not a permanent position, though based on performance it could convert into a full time position with the firm. Salary will be commensurate with the experience of the individual and is expected to be between 80,000- 100,000 per month.
