You will work with the Project Lead to gather data and synthesise information to identify underlying trends & patterns. You have a problem-solving approach, are able to think of multiple paths to tackle problems creatively, and are comfortable with qualitative and quantitative tools and methods. You are well-versed with public databases, knowledge sources and can navigate independently through multiple sources of information to arrive at triangulated information. You bring a learning mindset, and are motivated by working on diverse issues and constituencies. You prefer independent and flexible working environments, and are comfortable in an entrepreneurial atmosphere.
● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Development Studies or a related field. Candidates with a Master’s degree in these or related fields will be considered for Associate role.
● 3-5 years of experience in the development sector; experience in the consulting sector is a plus. Candidates with less than 3 years of experience will be considered for Analyst role only.
● Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research tools and methods; data gathering skills and proven capacity to synthesise information quickly. Experience in tools such as FGD, IDI, Ethnographic and case study research will be a plus
● Comfortable in writing reports and presentations in English; understanding of business modelling/financial modelling will be an advantage
● Demonstrated ability to plan your work independently and be responsible for specific work deliverables (reports, research synthesis)
● Comfortable in engaging with different stakeholders (community members, civil society, government officials, private players) for discussions and information gathering;

This is a full time position, based in Bangalore. Salaries will be commensurate with the experience of the individual and is expected to be between 30,000- 55,000 per month.
